Look, I’ve stayed at a bunch of places on the Strip, and honestly? The Hilton at Resorts World surprised me in the best way. When they first announced this massive complex was going up where the old Stardust used to be, I was skeptical – I mean, that corner of Las Vegas Boulevard has seen some ups and downs over the years. But walking into this place, you immediately get that it’s different from your typical Vegas hotel experience.
The lobby feels more like you’re stepping into a high-end Asian resort than another flashy casino hotel, which makes sense given Genting’s background. There’s this subtle elegance that doesn’t scream for your attention every two seconds – refreshing when you’re used to the sensory overload most Strip properties throw at you. The rooms are genuinely spacious (not just Vegas spacious, where they call a 320-square-foot box “luxurious”), and the bathrooms actually have decent water pressure, which… you know what, that matters more than people admit. I stayed on the 28th floor and could see clear to Red Rock Canyon on one side – something you don’t get at the older properties hemmed in by decades of development.
What really works here is the location within Resorts World itself. You’re literally connected to everything without having to deal with the chaos of walking the Strip if you don’t want to. The food hall downstairs has some serious options – not just the usual suspects but actual good Asian cuisine that doesn’t feel like it’s been dumbed down for tourists. And here’s something I didn’t expect: the noise levels are incredibly manageable. My room faced the Strip and I could barely hear the traffic, which is almost unheard of in this part of town. The pool area gets busy during peak season (avoid weekends in summer unless you’re into that scene), but the deck space is huge enough that it never feels cramped. Parking is straightforward too – none of that maze-like garage situation you get at some of the older properties where you need GPS just to find your car. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend using the app if you’re arriving during convention season when the lobby can get a bit hectic. The staff seems genuinely trained rather than just going through the motions, which honestly sets it apart from some of the more established places that have gotten a bit complacent over the years. Is it perfect? Well, the casino floor feels a bit sterile compared to old-school Vegas charm, but if you’re looking for a solid base to explore from – or just want to enjoy a genuinely comfortable stay without the vintage Vegas kitsch – this place delivers on what it promises.

The room was very spacious with nice view over the Strip, very comfortable beds .The bathroom was also very nice and 1 choice toiletries. The pool was heated and for December was a nice plus.

It’s a very good hotel. Room was large, very cosy and nicely designed. Comfy bed and amenities in the bathroom. The only issue is the location. It’s min 30min walk to the centre. If you want to explore night life if LV and the most popular hotels then you’d need to walk A LOT or use taxi
