When I first walked into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense of calm that hits you – they’ve got this whole modern-meets-ashram vibe going on that actually works, unlike some places that try too hard and end up looking like a yoga studio exploded.

The rooms themselves are genuinely spacious, which you don’t always get in Rishikesh, even at the pricier spots. Floor-to-ceiling windows facing the river – and I’m talking about real river views here, not some glimpse through trees that hotels love to oversell. You can actually watch the morning aarti ceremonies from your balcony if you’re up early enough, though honestly the best part is just sitting there in the evening when the light hits the water just right. The beds are proper comfortable too, which matters more than you’d think after a day of temple-hopping or trekking. What really got me though was the attention to small stuff – like they actually have good water pressure in the showers (miracle in this part of India), and the AC doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing.

Now, the 7.5 rating makes sense when you dig into it a bit. The service can be inconsistent – some staff members are absolutely wonderful and know exactly what you need before you ask, while others seem like they’d rather be literally anywhere else. The restaurant food is decent but not amazing, though to be fair, you’re five minutes from some incredible local spots if you’re willing to venture out. The pool area is beautiful but gets pretty crowded during peak season, especially when the Delhi crowd descends on weekends. But here’s what I keep coming back to – the location is just unbeatable. You’re close enough to walk to Parmarth Niketan for evening prayers, the Beatles Ashram is practically next door, and when you want to escape the spiritual intensity that can honestly get overwhelming in Rishikesh, you can just retreat back to your river-view room and decompress. It’s expensive for the area, sure, but sometimes you need that buffer between you and the beautiful chaos that is this town. If you’re doing Rishikesh for the first time or you just want somewhere reliable to come back to after long days exploring, this place delivers on what matters most.
