The rooms are spacious – I mean properly spacious, not just “spacious for Japan” – and every single one has that view you came to Okinawa for. The terraces are the real deal too, not those tiny balconies where you can barely fit a chair. I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee, watching the water change colors as the sun came up. The staff genuinely knows their stuff about the area – they pointed me toward this little pottery workshop in nearby Yomitan that I never would’ve found otherwise, and gave me the real scoop on which beaches to hit depending on the wind direction that day. Small thing, but the parking situation is actually hassle-free, which anyone who’s driven around Okinawa’s resort areas will appreciate.

Here’s what I really respect about this place though – they’ve nailed that balance between luxury and not taking themselves too seriously. The pool area never felt crowded (even when the hotel was clearly busy), and there’s something about the whole property that just encourages you to slow down. Maybe it’s the way the buildings are tucked into the landscape, or how the common areas flow naturally from indoor to outdoor spaces. The restaurant situation is solid – not just hotel food that’s trying too hard, but actual quality that happens to be convenient. I’ll be honest, the location means you’re not walking to a bunch of restaurants and bars, but that’s kind of the point. You come here when you want to properly disconnect, not when you want to bar-hop through American Village. With a 9.3 rating, I expected it to be good, but this felt like one of those rare places where the rating actually undersells the experience.
