The building itself feels more like where people actually live rather than some sterile hotel complex, which I kind of loved. There’s decent parking (trust me, this matters in Viña del Mar), and the whole Jardines area has this residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re getting a real taste of how people live here. The apartment was clean and functional – nothing Instagram-worthy, but honestly comfortable with everything you actually need. What really sold me was stepping onto that little balcony area and realizing you could hear the ocean without all the street noise from the main coastal road.

Here’s the thing about staying in Reñaca versus central Viña – you get the best of both worlds without the chaos. During the day, you can walk down to the beach and it’s not completely packed (well, except maybe in January when everyone’s here). At night, there are enough local restaurants and bars within walking distance that you don’t need to trek back into the city center, but you can easily catch an Uber or micro if you want to hit up the casino or the main strip. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury, it delivers exactly what it promises. I actually appreciated that it felt authentic rather than trying too hard to be something it’s not. The check-in was straightforward, the WiFi worked fine, and honestly – sometimes that’s all you need when you’re spending most of your time exploring anyway.
