First Impressions

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort, Ajman — I mean, Ajman isn’t exactly the first emirate that comes to mind when you think luxury getaway. But stepping into this five-star resort completely changed my perspective. The property sits right along Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Street, and there’s something refreshingly authentic about being in this quieter emirate while still having access to serious luxury. You know what struck me most? The staff genuinely seemed to remember returning guests — and apparently there are quite a few of them, which always tells you something.

The Setting

What I love about this location is how it feels removed from the Dubai hustle without being isolated. Couples absolutely adore it here (I can see why — the beachfront is way less crowded than what you’d find in Dubai or Abu Dhabi), and the resort takes full advantage of its waterfront position. The fishing opportunities are actually pretty decent if you’re into that sort of thing, though I spent most of my time just enjoying the fact that I could walk the beach without dodging selfie sticks every few meters. The free parking on-site is a nice touch too — sounds small, but it matters when you’re planning day trips around the UAE.

Accommodations That Actually Deliver

I’ll be straight with you — the beds here are phenomenal. I’m usually a light sleeper, but something about the room setup and those mattresses had me sleeping like a rock. The accommodations feel genuinely luxurious without being over-the-top flashy, if that makes sense.
