Check-in was smooth (they have English-speaking staff, which isn’t always a given in smaller Hokkaido towns), and parking is included – important since you’ll probably be driving unless you’re committed to the bus connections from Kushiro Airport. At this level of service and that location right on the lake, honestly, it’s worth the splurge.
