The therapist I had actually knew what she was doing, not just following some corporate manual. The whole place has this sort of understated elegance… you know what I mean? Like, the lobby doesn’t scream “look how expensive we are” but everything feels thoughtfully designed. The rooms are spacious (important in Goa’s humidity, trust me), and they’ve got these little touches that show someone was actually thinking about guest comfort – proper blackout curtains, multiple charging points that actually work, and bathroom amenities that aren’t tiny bottles of whatever was cheapest.

Here’s the thing though – and this is why that 9.1 rating makes sense – it’s the staff that really sets this place apart. Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they seem to genuinely care about getting things right. When I mentioned I was hoping to catch some quieter beach time, the concierge pointed me toward Sinquerim instead of just defaulting to “go to Calangute beach” like most places do. Food-wise, their restaurant is surprisingly good (hotel restaurants in beach destinations can be hit-or-miss), and they’re smart about sourcing – you can actually taste that the seafood is fresh, not frozen. The pool area gets busy during peak season afternoons, but mornings are perfect if you want to actually swim laps instead of dodging kids with floaties. Parking isn’t an issue, which honestly matters more than people think when you’re dealing with Calangute’s narrow roads. My only real critique? The Wi-Fi gets spotty during monsoon season, but that’s pretty much everywhere in coastal Goa. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between authentic Goan hospitality and proper luxury amenities – without paying those insane Taj-level prices – this place delivers.
