The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you settle in because, well, everything just works the way it should.

The apartment itself has that comfortable, lived-in quality that’s way better than those sterile hotel rooms where you’re afraid to touch anything. I mean, you can tell someone actually thought about how people live when they set this place up. The kitchen has real pots and pans (not those flimsy things you usually get), and there’s proper counter space for making coffee in the morning or preparing those amazing seafood lunches you’ll inevitably bring back from the market. The windows – and this is key – actually frame the lagoon views instead of just promising them, which is refreshing because half the places around here oversell their “vista” claims. During the quieter shoulder seasons, you can sit with those windows open and just listen to the water, though summer obviously brings more activity.

What really sets this apart is the location within Algarrobo itself. You’re close enough to Playa San Pedro that you can walk there without breaking a sweat, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of day-trippers that hit the main drag. The condominium complex feels secure without being stuffy – there’s actual parking (seriously, don’t underestimate this during peak season), and the other residents tend to be a mix of Chilean families and international visitors who actually want to experience the area rather than just party through it.
