HOTEL OVERVIEW
Okay, so Crockfords – honestly, when I first walked into this place, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s tucked inside Resorts World, which if you haven’t been there yet, is basically this massive complex on the north end of the Strip that opened a few years back. You know how some Vegas hotels try too hard to be everything to everyone? This one actually pulls it off, and I think it’s because they kept Crockfords separate from the main casino chaos.
The whole vibe here is different from your typical Vegas experience. I mean, don’t get me wrong – you’re still on the Strip, you can still hear the slots dinging if you venture downstairs, but there’s this almost… I don’t know, sophisticated calm to it? The lobby has this dark wood and marble thing going on that reminds me more of a high-end hotel in Singapore than anything you’d find at Caesars or MGM. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, which – let’s be real – doesn’t always happen in Vegas, especially during convention season. They’ve got their own dedicated entrance off Resorts World Avenue, so you’re not fighting through crowds of people taking selfies just to get to your room.
What really got me though was the attention to detail. The rooms are spacious (and I mean actually spacious, not Vegas spacious where they squeeze in a king bed and call it a suite), and the bathrooms have these deep soaking tubs that honestly made me want to skip dinner reservations. The Strip views are solid if you get the right room – you can see all the way down to the Strat on a clear day. One thing I appreciated was how quiet it stays, even on weekend nights. The soundproofing is legit, which is saying something considering you’re basically sitting on top of one of the busiest stretches of Las Vegas Boulevard.
There’s this whole private gaming area that feels more like an exclusive club than a casino floor – dark lighting, leather chairs, the works. Even if you’re not a big gambler, it’s worth checking out just for the atmosphere. The restaurants here are solid too, though you’ll end up exploring the rest of Resorts World anyway because there’s so much variety. Pro tip: the parking situation is way better than most Strip hotels. You can actually get in and out without planning your entire day around it, which… if you’ve tried to park at Bellagio on a Saturday night, you know what I’m talking about.
Look, it’s not cheap – this is definitely a splurge situation. But if you’re looking for that high-end Vegas experience without feeling like you’re staying inside a theme park, Crockfords hits that sweet spot. It’s got that international luxury hotel feel while still being undeniably Vegas. Plus, being part of Resorts World means you’ve got access to everything else in the complex, but you can retreat to this quieter, more refined space when you need a break from the madness. That 8.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that just handles the details well, you know?

Crockfords is one of the better value hotels on the Strip. I have stayed here 2-3 times now. It is nice and quiet, right on the strip but you don't have the noise or smokiness of other hotels.
