The thing about Horseshoe Bay is that it’s genuinely peaceful without being isolated — you’re about an hour from Austin, but it feels like a different world entirely. There’s private parking right on site, which sounds basic but trust me, after a long drive through the Hill Country, you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for a spot. The Room Experience

My room overlooked the lake, and honestly, I spent way too much time just standing on the balcony watching the water.
