Hotel Epinard Nasu

staff friendly and polite, I made the hotel reservation on the booking website, after completing the reservation I realized that the room was for smokers, I asked for a room change, they promptly moved me to a non-smoking room, The meal had a huge variety of food, the breakfast was also fantastic, I definitely want to stay there again

What could be improved: It is not possible to open the window in the rooms, the air conditioning has internal control, so as it is winter, only hot air comes out, my husband and I are hot, even with the air conditioning turned off, the room felt stuffy, it was a little uncomfortable, but we still managed to sleep.

This is our second time to stay at Hotel Epinard, a wonderful family resort in Nasu. We stayed for 5 days at Deluxe room which is spacious, modern and clean. Super friendly staff and great facilities including onsen (indoor and outdoor), swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, arts and crafts workshops, game centre, massage, karaoke and a lovely chapel. Restaurants are also great: buffet breakfast, Japanese meals and high quality French cuisine (available for breakfast and dinner). Very well located and a good base to explore Nasu where lots of theme parks and museums nearby,

What could be improved: Nothing actually

The hotel was set in a beautiful garden location. It’s a very big hotel and popular with families. Our room was large with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony. The foyer is huge with a bakery and a shop which sells local products. There was a separate part of the buffet restaurant dedicated to small kids under 5. There was a free shuttle bus to and from Nasushiobara station. There was a separate building for people with dogs. The air conditioning temperature was controlled by the hotel but it was OK.

What could be improved: Checkin and check out was difficult as there was very little English spoken by the staff. All the signs and vouchers we were given were in Japanese. There are only 2 lifts in the main building so there is a lot of waiting. It’s not a romantic hotel. There were a lot of families staying and the buffet restaurant is frantic. We could not relax when eating. The queue for breakfast was very long. The French restaurant on the top floor was closed for the entire week and the Japanese restaurant was fully booked. You are captured here as there are no restaurants or shops nearby. I would not recommend coming here without a car as there are no facilities or attractions nearby.

子供への対応が非常に良く助かりました。
少し古い作りのようには感じましたが、そんなことは全く気にならないほどのホスピタリティでした。
貸し出し物品もおおく、オムツゴミ箱とともにお尻拭きも。和洋室は布団も引けるので、子供と寝るのも不安なく寝れました。
またご飯の時間も、チェックインの段階では午後の第二部を案内されましたが、「すみません、、子供が小さく。できれば早い時間帯がいいのですが」とお伝えすると快く空きを探してくださいました。
特に夕食。朝食共にご飯の品数が多くかつ、アレルギー表記も各食材に記載。心配なものを、スタッフの方に伺うとすぐに案内してくださいます。子供用カトラリーも豊富。キッズバイキングコーナーもあり、息子も満腹になるまでご飯食べました。また、温泉も子供と入れるもありがたかったです。

What could be improved: 敷いてあげるのであれば、部屋鍵の作りを子供が開けにくいように2段のものにしていただくのと、今回諸事情で温泉に行けなかったのですが湯船がないお部屋がほとんどなのであったらより助かったなと感じました。
