HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what really caught me off guard about Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa? It’s one of those places that actually delivers on the “resort village” promise instead of just slapping those words on a generic hotel sign. I mean, when you pull up Resort Village Drive – which honestly feels more like you’re entering a small neighborhood than a hotel property – there’s this immediate sense that someone put real thought into making this feel like an actual community.
The layout is pretty brilliant, actually. Instead of cramming everything into one massive tower, they’ve spread the accommodations across these low-rise buildings that wind around the property, so it never feels overwhelming or crowded even when it’s busy (and trust me, anything this close to Disney gets busy). The spa sits right at the heart of everything, and honestly, after a day of dealing with theme park crowds, having those treatment rooms just a short walk from your room is kind of genius. I’ve stayed at plenty of Orlando hotels where the spa feels like an afterthought, but here it’s clearly one of the main attractions. The whole vibe is more “let’s actually relax” than “let’s crash between park days.”
What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed the Disney proximity without letting it completely take over the experience. Yeah, you’re maybe ten minutes from the parks when traffic’s cooperating, and you can see some of the fireworks from certain spots on the property – but it doesn’t feel like you’re staying inside a theme park advertisement. The pool area actually stays pretty calm during the day because most families are off doing the Disney thing, which means if you’re smart about timing, you can have this beautiful resort largely to yourself until late afternoon. The staff seems to get this too – they’re helpful with Disney planning if you want it, but they’re not constantly pushing park tickets or character breakfasts on you. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, parking is included (which saves you a surprising amount if you’re planning to drive to the parks), and the rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase. That 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not perfect, but the things they do well, they do really well. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between Disney convenience and actual resort relaxation, this place nails it.

Location is great and property is quiet. Enough parking and good access. I didnt see the pool myself but my sons did- they said it was nice but didn't seem heated. I didnt check out the restaurant but seemed cleaned and easy access
