The staff genuinely seems to know the area too, which is rarer than you’d think. They pointed me toward Pawleys Island for a day trip and suggested hitting up some local seafood spot that wasn’t crawling with tourists.
Here’s the thing about this place that sets it apart from the cookie-cutter oceanfront towers – it’s got that 8.9 rating for good reason, and you can feel it in the details. The lobby doesn’t smell like chlorine and sunscreen, the elevators actually work efficiently, and honestly, the whole property feels like someone put thought into making it comfortable rather than just profitable. You’re close enough to all the Myrtle Beach attractions when you want them (the SkyWheel, Broadway at the Beach, all that), but far enough away that you can actually relax when you don’t.
