HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled into Naples Grande – honestly, the name sounds kind of generic and I’d driven past it a dozen times without really noticing. But once you wind through that entrance off Seagate Drive (which, by the way, is tucked back in Pelican Bay where most tourists never venture), you realize this place is actually something special.
The thing about this resort is that it sits in this perfect sweet spot between the Gulf and the bay side. I mean, you’re literally on one of the quieter stretches of Naples beach where you won’t be fighting crowds of day-trippers from Fort Myers, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Waterside Shops if you want to grab dinner somewhere else. The beach here is honestly gorgeous – that soft white sand that Southwest Florida does so well, and the water stays warm pretty much year-round. What I really appreciated was how the resort manages to feel expansive without being overwhelming. The pools (there are several) never felt crowded, even when I visited during snowbird season in February when half of Ohio seems to descend on Naples.
The rooms are solid – not blow-your-mind fancy, but comfortable and actually functional, which matters more than people think. Good water pressure, blackout curtains that work, and balconies that face either the golf course or water depending on what you book. Speaking of the golf course, it’s right there if you’re into that, though I’ll be honest, I spent most of my time either on the beach or exploring downtown Naples, which is maybe a 10-minute drive south on Gulf Shore Boulevard. The staff here gets it right most of the time – they’re helpful without being hovering, and check-in was surprisingly quick. Parking is easy too, which sounds boring but trust me, it matters when you’re dealing with resort logistics. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that’s more “sophisticated beach town” than “spring break destination,” if that makes sense. It’s definitely worth the splurge if you want to experience Naples without staying right in the thick of things downtown, plus you get that resort feel with actual space to breathe.

99% of the staff was excellent! The inside bar/restaurant staff and bellmen (Sammy) were great. Love he large TV in the inside bar and all the TV's outside with sports.
