Nirbana Palace – A Heritage Hotel and Spa Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Nirbana Palace? Walking through those heritage doors feels like stepping into someone’s grand family home rather than a typical hotel lobby. I mean, you’re right there on M I Road – honestly one of Jaipur’s busiest stretches – but somehow the moment you’re inside, all that honking and street vendor chaos just melts away. The location near Khasa Kothi Circle is actually perfect if you know Jaipur at all, because you can walk to the main shopping areas without dealing with rickshaw negotiations every single time.
The rooms have this interesting mix going on where they’ve kept the old Rajasthani architectural details (those gorgeous jharokhas and carved work) but didn’t go overboard with the maharaja theme like some heritage properties do. My room had these heavy wooden doors that made satisfying thunk sounds when they closed – you know you’re getting decent privacy and quiet. The spa area surprised me too; it’s tucked away in what feels like a separate wing, so you’re not hearing lobby chatter during your massage. I actually tried their Ayurvedic treatment, and the therapist knew her stuff – not just going through motions like at some hotel spas. The whole place has maybe 50-60 rooms I’d guess, so it never felt overwhelming or anonymous.
Here’s the thing though – with a 7.7 rating, you’re not getting perfection, and honestly that’s fine by me. The Wi-Fi was spotty in some corners (common for these older buildings), and breakfast service ran a bit slow during peak season when I visited in February. But the staff genuinely seemed to care about sorting things out rather than just shrugging. What really sold me was how they handled the little details – like remembering I preferred my morning chai extra strong, or suggesting I visit City Palace early morning to beat the crowds. The pool area gets lovely afternoon light if you’re into that, though it’s not huge. Parking was straightforward, which matters more than people realize when you’re navigating Jaipur’s narrow lanes. If you’re looking for that authentic Rajasthani experience without staying in some converted haveli where everything creaks and the plumbing is questionable, this place hits a sweet spot between character and comfort.
Exclusive luxury healing resorts combine opulent amenities with therapeutic environments, offering personalized wellness journeys in some of the world’s most serene and beautiful locations.

They arranged a great driver for us, called Saleem who sorted all of our sight seeing and day trips, who I would strongly recommend hiring. The puppetshow was a nice touch and good fun. breakfast and evening meals were included so we only really felt...
No Plug points in Table and near Tea cattle.
Very beautiful
This historic fort palace was beautifully restored. Loved exploring the gorgeous grounds and interesting passageways and rooms!
Design and space
Nice heritage setting
That place was so clean - management wouldn't let the poor staff one minute to breathe, always having them moping and cleaning.
The staff and how the hotel looked
The interior design is gorgeous with so much attention to detail! There’s a pool in the center and a rooftop with great views. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are nice, mine even had a balcony with a view over the court.
Superb value for money overall and a great base for work or leisure. The 100-year old heritage hotel is very well maintained, thoughtfully modernised, and kept spotlessly clean, as is the courtyard swimming pool. The breakfast buffet offers a mixture...
