The mineral content is legit too; you can actually smell that slight sulfur scent that tells you it’s the real deal. They’ve got both indoor and outdoor baths, and honestly? The outdoor one at sunset with Mount Yotei looming in the distance is worth the trip alone. I stayed here in March (peak powder season, so yeah, it was pricey) and even after a brutal day on the slopes, twenty minutes in those waters had me feeling human again. The changing rooms are spotless too – you know how some onsen can be a bit… rustic? Not here.
