Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places on the Strip, and Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace is honestly one of those spots that feels completely different from the typical Vegas experience – which, depending on what you’re after, could be exactly what you want or maybe not quite right. The moment you walk into the lobby, it’s like someone hit the mute button on all that classic Vegas chaos. Everything’s sleek, minimalist, very zen-meets-luxury, with these gorgeous natural materials and this almost library-quiet vibe that’s pretty jarring when you remember you’re literally inside one of the most over-the-top casino complexes in the world.

What’s really cool about this place is how they’ve managed to carve out this sophisticated Japanese-influenced sanctuary while still giving you full access to everything Caesars has to offer. You can slip from your serene, spa-like room down to the casino floor in about three minutes, or walk through to the Forum Shops without ever going outside – which, trust me, you’ll appreciate during those brutal summer months when it’s 115 degrees at midnight. The rooms themselves are beautiful, I mean really stunning, with these floor-to-ceiling windows and bathrooms that feel more like personal spas. But here’s the thing – and this might explain that 7.1 rating despite the five-star designation – the service can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes you get that perfect Nobu attention to detail, other times it feels like the staff is still figuring things out, especially during busy convention weeks when the whole Caesars complex gets absolutely slammed.

The restaurant downstairs is obviously incredible (it’s Nobu, after all), but you’re looking at serious money for dinner, and honestly, even getting a reservation can be tricky if you’re not staying in the hotel. What I really love though is the pool area – it’s this adults-only rooftop situation that feels worlds away from the party pools you’ll find at other Strip hotels. Perfect if you actually want to relax and maybe read a book without someone doing cannonballs three feet away. The location is pretty much perfect for walking the Strip; you’re right in the heart of everything with the Bellagio fountains across the street and all the action of Flamingo Road right there. Parking is the usual Caesars nightmare unless you’re willing to pay for valet, but that’s just Vegas for you. I’d say this place is ideal if you want that high-end Vegas experience but with some actual peace and quiet to retreat to – just maybe temper your expectations slightly given that rating, because while it’s definitely luxurious, it doesn’t always hit that flawless five-star mark consistently.
