The shoulder seasons in late September or early December are actually perfect – you get the green scenery without the weekend crowds or the peak-season pricing. The whole property feels different when it’s not packed with large groups taking selfies everywhere. They’ve got this outdoor seating area that catches the evening breeze perfectly, and it’s one of those spots where you end up sitting longer than planned just watching the light change across the valley. For what you get – the location, the views, the actual comfort level – it makes sense why they’re pulling an 8.6 rating.
