It’s how they’ve managed to create this bubble of tranquility just outside the chaos of Bangalore — honestly, I wasn’t expecting such serenity given how close it is to the airport. The moment you drive through those gates in Tarabanahalli, it’s like someone turned down the volume on the world. This five-star retreat sits on sprawling grounds that feel more like a private estate than a commercial property, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The Wellness Experience

The spa here is where this place really shows its colors — they’ve built something that goes way beyond your typical hotel wellness center. I spent hours in their Ayurvedic treatment rooms, and the therapists actually know what they’re doing (not always a given, even at luxury properties). The meditation pavilions scattered around the property are positioned perfectly to catch the morning light, and there’s this one spot near the lotus pond where you can sit for ages without seeing another soul. They’ve got yoga sessions at sunrise that’ll make you want to become a morning person, even if you’re not.

Accommodations That Actually Deliver

My room was in one of their heritage-style villas — spacious doesn’t even begin to cover it. The interiors blend traditional Indian elements with modern comfort in a way that feels authentic rather than forced. What I loved most was the private sit-out area; you can have your morning coffee while watching peacocks strut across the lawns (yes, actual peacocks). The bathrooms are marble-clad sanctuaries with soaking tubs that overlook private gardens, and honestly, I probably spent too much time just soaking there.

Dining and Daily Rhythms

The main restaurant serves this incredible fusion of South Indian and international cuisine — their dosas are obviously excellent, but they also do this amazing farm-to-table concept using herbs from their own gardens. Breakfast is served until late morning, which I appreciated since the whole point of being here is to slow down. The evening dining experience on the terrace is something special too, especially when they have live classical music performances under the stars.

What makes this place work so well for couples — and I can see why they rate it so highly — is how it balances intimacy with space. You can disappear into your own little world here, whether that’s by the infinity pool or in one of the secluded garden nooks. The location in Devanahalli means you’re close enough to the airport for easy arrivals and departures, but far enough from the city to feel like you’ve actually escaped. There’s complimentary parking throughout the property, which matters more than you’d think when you’re this relaxed and don’t want to deal with logistics. It’s the kind of place where three days feels like a week in the best possible way.
