HOTEL OVERVIEW

You know what struck me first about One Niseko Resort Towers? It’s actually positioned perfectly – not right in the thick of Hirafu’s madness, but close enough that you’re not stranded. I mean, you’re literally a few minutes from the main village action, but when you come back after a long day on the slopes, there’s this sense of stepping away from all the tourist chaos. The building itself is pretty impressive – one of those modern tower-style places that actually fits the mountain landscape better than you’d expect. Check-in was smooth (thank god, because I was exhausted from traveling), and the staff genuinely seemed to know the area well, not just spouting rehearsed lines about powder snow.

What really makes this place work is how they’ve thought about the practical stuff that matters when you’re skiing Niseko. The ski storage area is heated – honestly, such a small thing but your boots are actually dry the next morning. The rooms themselves are spacious enough that you’re not tripping over your gear, and the views… well, if you get a mountain-facing room, you’ll understand why people get obsessed with this place. I loved being able to see the snow conditions first thing in the morning without even getting out of bed. The onsen facilities are solid too, though they can get pretty crowded during peak times (like right after the lifts close – everybody has the same idea). Pro tip: go later in the evening when it’s quieter and you can actually relax without dodging other guests.

The location really shines during powder days because you can get to Grand Hirafu pretty quickly, but you’re also positioned well for exploring other areas of the resort. I actually walked to some of the local restaurants one evening – there’s this little ramen place about ten minutes away that the concierge mentioned, and it was exactly the kind of authentic spot you hope to stumble across. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be ultra-luxury, but everything works well and the service feels genuine rather than overly formal. Winter parking can be a bit tight if you’re driving (most people aren’t, but worth knowing), and the elevator situation during busy check-in times gets a little hectic – but honestly, these are pretty minor complaints. For what you’re paying and where you are, it delivers on being a comfortable base for exploring some of the best skiing in Japan without the premium prices of the ultra-high-end places right in Hirafu village center.

The size of the room is over expectations!! with electric stove and all the kitchen appliances prepared, you can easily cook your own meal at home and there is even an island bar on the room where you can enjoy a drinking party with friends, public bath is extraordinary with outside pool, overall a good stay, fair for the price. What could be improved: Location is a bit far, not easy to call the uber, had to contact front desk to call rental cars for you.

What could be improved: To be honest my check in process is not a pleasant experience. The lady receptions do slow and then she insisted I need to pay extra $3000 (2 nights)for 6 years old breakfast which is already included for my booking. Both of them was rude to me. Even says that “it’s only 3000 yen to settle the problem “
But it’s not my problem I already mentioned all the head counts in my booking, it’s not an add on. It’s the principle not about the money. I feel being cheated. It really spoils my stay the first night even though my penthouse so charming.
Luckily on 2nd night I finally found the more Humane front desk staff that helped me.

Lovely friendly hotel, very helpful staff. Clean room , great facilities. Loved the Onsen! Delicious breakfast catering for all tastes!

What could be improved: Lack of wall hooks and coat hangers in bedroom.

The staff were fantastic. So helpful and sweet.

What could be improved: I think it would have been nice if the cooked breakfast items were kept in some kind of warming tray.
