The five-star property sits in a quieter stretch near Colva, away from the more touristy chaos — which honestly turned out to be exactly what I needed. There’s something refreshingly understated about the entrance, like they’re not trying too hard to impress you before you’ve even stepped inside.

Sernabatim Beach is just a short walk away, and it’s one of those stretches where you can still find your own patch of sand without dodging beach vendors every five minutes. The resort itself feels tucked away from the main Colva bustle, but you’re close enough that a quick rickshaw ride gets you to the markets and restaurants when you want some action. I mean, sometimes you want the energy of Goa’s beach scene, but sometimes you just want to hear the waves without the soundtrack of motorbikes.

My room was spacious enough that I could actually spread out my things — something that’s become surprisingly rare these days. The luxury touches are there without feeling overdone, and the air conditioning works properly, which trust me, matters more than you think in Goa’s humidity. What really impressed me was the spa and wellness center — I spent way more time there than I’d planned, and their treatments actually felt authentic rather than just going through the motions. The fitness center is well-equipped too, though honestly, I found myself preferring morning walks on the beach.

The breakfast situation is actually quite good — they’ve got continental, American, and buffet options, plus they’ll pack something to go if you’re heading out early for sightseeing. The restaurant serves decent Goan cuisine alongside international dishes, though I’d recommend venturing out to some local spots too.
