Queenstown’s only about an hour if you want the full tourist experience, but honestly, staying here means you get to skip all that madness and still hit the good stuff – the wineries, the bike trails, those incredible autumn colors if you time it right (though fair warning, accommodation gets pretty tight during cherry blossom season). The property has plenty of parking, which might sound boring but trust me, after driving those winding roads all day wine tasting, you’ll appreciate not having to hunt for a spot. Evenings are dead quiet except for the occasional bird call, which was exactly what I needed after months of city noise.
