Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah – Ultra All Inclusive

Overall a fantastic family all inclusive and alternative to staying in busy overpriced Dubai. Rixos haven’t long taken this hotel over so are still improving standards. We particularly liked the following:
The main canteen style restaurant Turquoise was actually decent despite the reviews- plenty of choice for all 3 meals a day, varied too. They created a huge outdoor brunch/bbq for Christmas Day - it was delicious. You have to book the 3 a la carte restaurants - we tried Orient on one night but were disappointed- the setting is beautiful but food poor - and to be honest we actually preferred the flexibility of turning up whenever it suits you to Turquoise and helping yourself.
Family suite was clean, comfortable and quiet- albeit a bit dated but we were hardly in it.
The resort feels spacious - with 7 pools and 3 sandy beaches there’s never the need to fight for sunbeds. The family pool is obviously noisier with music and happy children but you’ve plenty of peaceful areas to escape to. The grounds were immaculate constantly tended to by the polite staff who work there. Loved the beaches - stunning and serene- really clean and crystal clear water. Nice to see the mountains in the distance. Lastly staff were wonderful throughout- helpful, courteous and friendly. It may not be exactly 5 star but you would struggle to find something on par for the same money anywhere else in this part of the world. We will be back!

The staff were amazing. Really switched on. True service with a smile from the reception, housekeeping, beach staff, pool, waiters and waitresses

The food was lovely. They made veg food for our mum when there was no options. Lots of fruits options, drinks and food throughout the day. The restaurants are amazing.

Honestly would highly recommend.

They had activities for all ages.

The hotel the room and the events and specialy that this hotel is made for families with a lot of activities.

We will definitely come back for a longer stay. 🙏 I'd say the cuisine was excellent. The all-inclusive package is worthwhile, with a money-back guarantee. The main buffet restaurant and the smaller restaurants all featured great and scrumptious food with a wide range of options to pick from. Bars provide a variety of pretty nice drinks, and the Christmas Eve performance was great too. Facilities and our villa room beachfront were a big thing that made our stay more wonderful for Christmas.
