It’s actually tucked away in this quiet corner of Zor Vaddo where you can still hear the waves from Vagator Beach without all the chaos that comes with beachfront properties. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from that gorgeous cliff-top stretch of sand, but somehow the hotel feels like its own little world – which honestly is exactly what you want after spending days weaving through Goa’s tourist crowds.

The whole setup here feels more like staying at someone’s really well-appointed family compound than a typical resort. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – proper cotton sheets that actually breathe in the humidity, and bathrooms with water pressure that doesn’t quit halfway through your shower (trust me, this matters more than you think in Goa). What I love is how they’ve managed to keep that old Goan villa charm while sneaking in modern touches where they count. The AC units are whisper-quiet, which you’ll appreciate when you’re trying to sleep off those long Anjuna flea market days, and there’s actually decent WiFi throughout – something that’s still hit-or-miss at a lot of places around here.

But here’s the thing that really sets this place apart: the location is absolutely perfect for exploring North Goa without feeling trapped in the tourist bubble. You’ve got that Vagator petrol pump right there (which becomes your landmark pretty quickly), and from there you can easily hop to Chapora Fort for sunset, or duck into those little beach shacks in Ozran Beach that most visitors never find. The staff here actually knows this stuff too – they’ll point you toward the good cashew feni spots and tell you which days the hippie market in Arambol is worth the trip. During peak season it can get a bit bustling around the pool area, but honestly, even then it never feels overwhelming. I stayed here during monsoon season once and it was almost meditative – just the sound of rain on those clay roof tiles and the occasional peacock call from the nearby fields. The restaurant does solid Goan fish curry (though I’d still recommend wandering down to the beach shacks for the full experience), and their breakfast spread is generous enough that you can easily skip lunch if you’re planning a big seafood dinner later. It’s the kind of place where you can base yourself for a proper Goa exploration without constantly worrying about whether you picked the right spot.
