Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel Overview
You know what caught me off guard about the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay? It’s actually massive – like, genuinely impressive when you first walk into that soaring lobby. I mean, I’d stayed at plenty of Disney-area hotels before, but this place has this grand, almost cruise ship vibe that works surprisingly well. The whole building curves along Tokyo Bay, so most rooms get these sweeping water views that honestly never get old, especially at sunset when all the lights start twinkling across the bay.
Here’s the thing though – and this is something you won’t realize until you’re there – the location is kind of perfect in this sneaky way. Sure, you’re technically in Chiba, not Tokyo proper, but you’re literally a three-minute walk to Bayside Station, which connects you to both Disney parks without the crowds and chaos of staying at the Disney hotels themselves. I actually preferred it because you get that resort feeling without the constant Mickey Mouse soundtrack, if you know what I mean. Plus, there’s this whole little area around Ikspiari (the shopping complex next door) that feels like its own mini-city – you can grab real ramen at 11 PM or hit up a proper Japanese grocery store, which saved me a fortune on snacks and drinks.
The rooms themselves are… well, they’re comfortable but nothing revolutionary. What I loved was how quiet everything stayed, even with families everywhere. The walls must be decent because I never heard crying kids or slamming doors, which honestly was my biggest worry booking a hotel this close to Disney. The staff deserves credit too – they’ve clearly dealt with every possible tourist crisis and handle everything with this calm efficiency that’s pretty reassuring when you’re jet-lagged and trying to figure out train schedules. Oh, and the breakfast buffet is actually worth it, especially if you hit it early before the tour groups descend around 8:30. They do this thing with fresh sushi and tempura that’s way better than it has any right to be in a hotel restaurant. One small thing – parking is expensive if you’re renting a car, but honestly, you don’t need one here anyway. The whole Maihama area is designed for walking and trains.
Premium healing resorts offer comprehensive wellness programs featuring spa therapies, meditation retreats, and holistic treatments designed to promote deep relaxation and personal renewal.

Very good location and service very near Tokyo Disney
It was nice to be just in front of the disney train. We walked over to take the train for the parks and had no problem getting on the next train as soon as we got to the station
Everything! What could be improved: The only thing I disliked was there was not enough washers/dryers. It also takes a long time to wash/dry your clothes like longer that it should typically be and while the area was very clean and well kept there...
Very comfortable spacious room. Fabulous location for visiting the Disney Parks and accessing Maihama Station to connect with the main railway lines.
Stayed for a few nights to take advantage of the location as we’d booked tickets to both the Disney parks. It’s a short monorail trip to both so we could enjoy the buffet brekkie before heading off (it’s like, 5mins monorail ride to the parks!). Or...
The rooms are spacious and the staff were extremely helpful before and during our stay.
The facilities for the children were fantastic, without making the hotel feel overrun by kids! Wizz kids play area and the arcade waa great for burning off energy. We appreciated the laundry. We made good use of the executive floor food and drinks....
Very grand as you enter, customer service was amazing
What could be improved: Rooms are quite dated
Spacious room with comfortable beds. Lots of dining options at the lobby. With a shuttle bus to/from Bayside Station.
What could be improved: Would be nice if there's a coin laundry machine on the building.
Very good
