The moment you step out of your car (and yes, parking is totally hassle-free, unlike some places in Mysore proper), you get why they called it “Silent Shores.” It’s this weird pocket of calm that feels miles away from the city even though you’re maybe fifteen minutes from the palace if traffic’s decent.
The property itself has that understated luxury thing going on – not flashy, but you can tell they put thought into everything. The rooms are spacious in a way that actually matters, with these massive windows that look out over their gardens, and honestly, the air conditioning works like a dream, which is clutch during Mysore’s warmer months. What really got me though was how quiet it stays even when they’re busy. I was there during Dasara season when literally everywhere else in the city is chaos, and you’d never know it from inside the resort. The spa’s legit too – I’m usually skeptical of hotel spas, but they do this Ayurvedic treatment that uses local herbs, and the therapist actually knew her stuff, not just going through the motions.
Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – you’re perfectly positioned for day trips. Hunsur Road connects you straight to Nagarhole if you’re into wildlife (about an hour’s drive), and you can hit Srirangapatna on the way back without dealing with Mysore’s traffic. The staff seems to get this too; they’re not pushy with tours but they know the area well enough to give you real recommendations. Food’s solid – the breakfast spread has both South Indian staples and continental options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. I mean, it’s not going to change your life, but the dosas are properly crispy and they make a decent filter coffee. The 8.2 rating feels about right to me – it’s definitely a well-run place that delivers on what it promises, though at this price point you might expect a few more bells and whistles. Still, if you want to actually relax in Mysore rather than just tick off tourist spots, this is the kind of place where you can slow down and breathe a bit.

i had bad experience with the things we forgot hand bag at restaurant at 7 am with in 10 minuts we called to reception and informed on the same the y said collected but we lost 500 rs from the bag whlile check out partially checked thought every thing is there but we lost and left my kids slippers at electric vehicle not was informed offcourse it...
