The elevators are quick, which matters more than you’d think when you’re hauling luggage up to the 15th floor. I stayed during late spring and the area gets pretty lively – you can hear some street noise if you’re a light sleeper, but honestly it just sounds like city life, not construction or anything obnoxious. One minor gripe: the air conditioning can be a bit temperamental, though the staff sorted it out quickly when I mentioned it. For the price point and that 8.8 rating, the Solaria Nishitetsu delivers exactly what it promises – a solid, well-located base for exploring Sapporo without any unpleasant surprises.
