The location on East Dean Street is absolutely unbeatable — I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Aspen but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant foot traffic outside your window. You can walk to the gondola in about five minutes, and all those boutiques and galleries on Durant Avenue are right there when you need them. The parking situation is actually handled really well too, which anyone who’s tried to park in Aspen during ski season will appreciate — they’ve got private spots on-site, so you’re not circling blocks looking for a space.
The Accommodations
My room had these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the mountains like living artwork, and the furnishings feel substantial without being stuffy. The beds are ridiculously comfortable — that perfect firmness that supports you all night without feeling like you’re sleeping on concrete.
