The location puts you maybe 10 minutes from Playa Cavancha if you want that classic beach scene, but you’re also positioned perfectly for day trips into the Atacama or up to the free trade zone if that’s your thing. Parking is included, which is huge because finding street parking in this part of town can be a real headache. The breakfast isn’t elaborate, but it’s solid – fresh fruit, decent coffee, and they know how to make proper scrambled eggs. I’ve stayed at places with twice the breakfast spread that somehow mess up the basics. Check-in was smooth even though I showed up kind of late, and they held my luggage on the last day while I wandered around town before my evening flight. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities, but it nails all the things that actually matter when you’re using a hotel as your base for exploring northern Chile.
