The twin towers rising from the sand in Hollywood have this sort of retro-modern vibe that immediately caught my attention — it’s like someone took a classic Miami Beach hotel and gave it a thoughtful update. The moment you step into the lobby, there’s this sense of space and light that feels both sophisticated and welcoming, without any of that stuffy formality you sometimes get at beach resorts.
The Beachfront Experience
What really sets this place apart is its position right on the sand — and I mean right on it. You walk out of the main building and you’re literally steps from the Atlantic. The beach here is actually wider and less crowded than what you’ll find up in South Beach, which honestly surprised me. There’s something refreshing about being able to claim a spot without feeling like you’re in a sardine can. The spa overlooks the ocean too, and I spent a good portion of my afternoon there just watching the waves roll in through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Accommodations and Amenities
My room was in the newer tower, and the views were pretty spectacular — you get this sweeping panorama of the coastline that stretches all the way down toward Miami. The space itself felt contemporary but comfortable, with those little touches that make you feel like someone actually thought about how you’d live in the space for a few days. The main restaurant serves up solid coastal cuisine, though I found myself gravitating toward the poolside bar more often than not. There’s also this great coffee spot in the lobby that becomes surprisingly essential when you’re trying to ease into beach time.
Location and Local Flavor
Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re close enough to all the South Florida action but far enough away to actually relax. The Hollywood Broadwalk is right there when you want to take a stroll or grab a bite somewhere different, and parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other beach towns. I mean, you can actually drive to Las Olas or even downtown Miami without wanting to tear your hair out, but you can also just stay put and feel completely content. The whole area has this laid-back energy that’s distinctly different from the intensity you get further south.
