Here’s what I really appreciated — you’re close enough to all the South Florida action but far enough away to actually relax. The Hollywood Broadwalk is right there when you want to take a stroll or grab a bite somewhere different, and parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other beach towns. I mean, you can actually drive to Las Olas or even downtown Miami without wanting to tear your hair out, but you can also just stay put and feel completely content. The whole area has this laid-back energy that’s distinctly different from the intensity you get further south.
