My room had this clean, contemporary feel that somehow still honored the island’s laid-back vibe. What I appreciated most was the attention to actual comfort: blackout curtains that work (crucial when you want to sleep past sunrise), a bathroom with decent water pressure, and air conditioning that can actually handle Florida humidity.

The fitness center is small but functional — honestly, you’re probably going to be walking miles around the island anyway, so it’s more about having the option. There’s a golf course within a couple miles if that’s your thing, though I’d argue the real draw here is the fishing opportunities. The staff actually knows which charter captains are worth your time, and they’re not just pushing whoever gives them the biggest kickback. The breakfast buffet is solid without being spectacular — fresh fruit, decent coffee, and enough variety to fuel whatever adventure you’ve got planned.
