The lobby’s got these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the San Jacinto Mountains perfectly, and I mean, the light here in the late afternoon is something else entirely.
The rooms are solid Westin quality – those heavenly beds really do live up to the hype, especially after a day exploring nearby Palm Springs or hiking in the Indian Canyons. What I actually loved most was how quiet everything feels, even though you’re basically in the heart of the desert resort corridor. You’re maybe ten minutes from the El Paseo shopping district in Palm Desert, but it feels worlds away from all that buzz. The spa here deserves a mention too – they do this desert stone massage that honestly melted away every bit of tension I didn’t even know I was carrying. And the pools? There are multiple options, so you can usually find a quieter spot even during peak season (which, let’s be real, is basically October through April out here).
Here’s the thing though – this isn’t the flashiest resort in the valley, and that’s actually why I’d recommend it. The golf course is challenging without being punishing, the restaurant serves decent California cuisine without the pretension you sometimes get at desert resorts, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work. Sure, it’s not the newest property around – you can tell it’s been here a while – but everything’s well-maintained and the service feels personal rather than scripted. The fitness center’s got everything you need, and there’s something really satisfying about working out while looking out at those perfectly manicured fairways with the mountains beyond. If you’re coming during tennis season or one of the big golf tournaments, book way ahead because this place fills up with people who know the area well and keep coming back. Overall, it’s the kind of place where you can actually relax without feeling like you need to be “on” all the time – which honestly, isn’t that what a desert getaway should be about?

It was our first time to go and it was a great one . The only thing was the cart service was too long of a wait. It took 20 mins. The driver explained that he helped the other guest settle inside the room with a wheelchair. So, because of great customer service of the driver it made our stay great. We understand.

Amazing value! We loved the family pool with 2 big slides, our room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and it was so nice and quiet at night! We loved all the perks that came with the stay - 2 games of bowling, $10 resort credit a day, bike rental. Really great value!
