You’re right on Avenida Costanera in the Jardín del Mar complex, which I mean, if you know Coquimbo at all, you know that’s prime real estate. Torre 1 sits back just enough from the street noise but you’re still close enough to walk down to the beach without that whole “do I really want to make this trek” internal debate.

What got me was how they managed to feel upscale without being stuffy – you know what I mean? The spa area actually feels like a retreat, not just some afterthought rooms they slapped a “wellness center” sign on. And the casino… well, it’s not Vegas, but if you’re into that scene, it’s legit enough to keep you entertained after dinner. The whole setup flows together pretty naturally, which is rare – usually places like this feel like three different hotels awkwardly sharing a lobby. The apartments themselves (I was in a similar unit to 1008) have those floor-to-ceiling windows that make you feel like you’re living inside a postcard, especially when the light hits the water in the late afternoon. You’ll want to time your arrival for that golden hour if you can swing it.

Here’s the thing though – and maybe this is why they’re pulling a 9.6 rating – they get the details right. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you hit the local markets (there’s a great one about ten minutes toward the city center), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave, and the beds are firm enough that you won’t spend your vacation complaining about your back. Parking’s included in the complex, which honestly saves you a headache because street parking around there can be… well, let’s just say it’s not fun during peak season. The only minor thing is that the elevator can get busy when there’s a big group checking in, but that’s pretty standard for these tower setups. If you’re planning to visit, just know that December through February gets packed with Santiago folks escaping the city heat, so book early. But really, any time of year this place delivers on that whole “live the experience” promise – even if they could’ve come up with a shorter way to say it.
