Parking is straightforward, which anyone who’s dealt with Auckland accommodation will appreciate, and the whole setup feels refreshingly low-key. The staff seem to get that people come to Waiheke to decompress, so check-in is smooth and they’re helpful without being hovering. I’d say the only minor thing is that during peak summer weekends it can get a bit lively on the beach – but that’s Waiheke in January for you, and by evening it quiets down to just the sound of the tide coming in.
