Location-wise, it’s honestly perfect if you want to experience Anjuna without being right in the chaos. Curlies is literally a short walk away (maybe 5 minutes if you’re moving slowly), and Shiva Valley is close enough that you’ll hear when the parties are getting good. But here’s the thing locals know – you’re also walking distance to some of the quieter stretches of Anjuna beach where you can actually find a spot that isn’t packed with sunbeds and aggressive vendors. The Wednesday market is practically on your doorstep, which is great until you realize you’ll be woken up by the setup crew around 6 AM that day. Small price to pay, really.

What I appreciated most was how the staff seemed to get the rhythm of Anjuna life. They’re not hovering or overly formal, but they know when to offer help and when to let you figure things out.
