The restaurant serves decent Kerala food (their fish curry was surprisingly good), and they’re flexible about meal times, which matters when you’re out chasing waterfalls and wildlife. Parking’s no issue, by the way – something I always worry about in these hill areas. What really won me over was the honesty of the place. It’s got an 8.1 rating, and that feels exactly right – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but it delivers on what matters. If you’re looking for a spa resort with infinity pools, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a comfortable base for exploring one of Kerala’s most spectacular natural areas, with staff who actually care about your experience rather than just checking boxes, Rainforest Resort hits that sweet spot perfectly.
