Parking is valet only, which some people grumble about, but honestly it’s worth it given how impossible street parking is in this part of town. Check-in was smooth as anything, and they had local restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps – they pointed me toward a fantastic little spot in nearby Ponsonby that I never would’ve found otherwise.
