Nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and the AC actually works – which, let’s be real, is half the battle in Goa. I stayed there during monsoon season once and was pleasantly surprised that everything stayed dry, though you can definitely hear the rain drumming on the roof pretty intensely.

What I really appreciate is how the staff genuinely seems to know the area. They’ll tell you which beach shacks are worth your time (skip the touristy ones right on Anjuna beach – walk five minutes south), and they actually have decent recommendations for where to rent a scooter without getting completely ripped off. The breakfast is nothing special, but there’s this little Goan bakery just down the road that does incredible poi bread if you’re willing to venture out. Parking’s not an issue, which is huge during peak season when other places are just… chaotic. The 7.2 rating feels about right – it’s not going to be anyone’s dream destination, but you’re not staying in your room anyway, right? You’re here for the beaches, the markets, the late-night beach parties that somehow always end up being way longer than you planned. This place gives you a comfortable base without eating up half your travel budget, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
