But here’s what I really appreciated – the neighborhood around Higashishiokojicho has this great mix of tiny local restaurants and convenience stores, so you can grab amazing ramen at 11 PM or stock up on those weird Kit Kat flavors without trekking across the city. The hotel’s restaurant is solid too, though I’ll be honest, some of the best meals I had were at the little izakaya just two blocks over that the concierge recommended.
