I mean, it’s a solid 3-star setup – nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and the AC works (which, trust me, matters more than you think during the humid months). The staff actually knows the area well, and they’ll give you the real scoop on game drive timings and which routes are producing the best tiger sightings. What I really appreciated was how they handle the early morning safari pickups – they’ve got it down to a system, so you’re not standing around at 5:30 AM wondering if your jeep driver remembered you exist.

Now, I’ll be straight with you – the 6.8 rating tells you this isn’t going to be a luxury experience, and there are some quirks. The WiFi can be spotty (though honestly, that might be a blessing when you’re trying to disconnect), and the restaurant menu is pretty limited. But here’s the thing – you’re not here for fine dining, you’re here because you want to be close enough to Pench that you can actually enjoy it without spending half your day traveling. The resort sits in this nice middle ground where you get the sounds of the forest at night – I actually heard a leopard calling my second evening there – but you’re not so remote that you feel completely cut off. The Khursapar Entry Gate being so close is genuinely convenient for those shorter evening drives, and the local guides they work with know their stuff. If you’re planning to visit during peak season (October through March), definitely book ahead because the good budget places near the park fill up fast, but honestly? For what you pay and where you are, Tuli Veer Bagh does the job just fine.
