That’s a blessing during peak season when the hill station turns into complete chaos. You get this quieter vibe – I could actually hear birds in the morning instead of honking cars – but you’re still close enough that a quick auto ride gets you to all the usual spots like Venna Lake or the strawberry farms. The property itself has this modern hill station aesthetic going on, nothing too fancy but clean lines and thoughtful touches that make it feel more upscale than the price suggests. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving late since the reception area isn’t massive.

What really works here is how they’ve balanced that boutique hotel experience without trying too hard. The rooms are well-appointed – good lighting (finally, a hotel that gets this right), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and bathrooms that don’t make you question your life choices. You’ll notice they’ve paid attention to the little things, like having enough power outlets and blackout curtains that actually block light. The 6.7 rating might seem modest, but I think that’s more about managing expectations than any real shortcomings.
